Challenge Accepted

My mom asked everyone who reads her blog to post a picture of their Christmas tree. So here are my pictures. Colton came running down the stairs to ask me if he could have a Christmas tree in his room. I could hear my mom yelling down the stairs "did you ask her?" So of course how could I say no? When I went upstairs I found Colton, Grandma, and Carter decorating two small Christmas trees. The light in Colton's eye as he helped decorate his very own tree; made me feel like a kid again. So here goes my mom's other challenge of posting some favorite Christmas memories. My favorite Christmas tradition was always decorating the Christmas tree. My mom would do all the very hard work of stringing the lights on the tree (we always had a real tree) Then we would all choose ornaments and tell why we had chosen that ornament. Then after we had finished decorating the tree we would all toast the tree with a glass of eggnog. So thank you mom for creating such a great memory for my boy. He LOVES his Christmas tree!

Free Admission? Yes, please!

The Living Planet Aquarium had a free admission day. And as you can guess it was crazy. We had to park over at the Ream's and walk over. When we got there we had to wait in line that went out the door into the parking lot. As soon as we got through the doors we lost Colton. He was so excited that he just ran in with another family. It took about 15 minutes until he was found and I was trying soo hard not to freak out. I almost cried when I saw him coming towards me.

This was our second time at the aquarium. I loved it! I love the jellyfish and being able to pet the sting rays. I would go all the time if I could.
