Gross!

This is what I discovered today while I was trying to get a few things done. It got kind of quiet. Then I heard splashing, and shouts of joy. I think it's really gross. Thank goodness I just barely cleaned my toilet.

Update

So they chose us for the duplex! We sign the lease on Thursday morning and will be moving in this Saturday!!!! Hopefully the weather is good for us. Now I can actually start boxing up my house. Feel free to come over and help. I'm sure I'll need it. We think that Colton had an ear infection. He seems to be doing much better today. Except that he is starting to catch my really annoying cold. And his little gums are pretty swollen. Hopefully we'll be seeing a tooth this week. Don't worry, as soon as I can see that tooth I will do a post about it. With a picture. I'm really hoping he gets a tooth before his birthday. Until next time. Adios!

Still Sick

So Colton is still sick. We had another great early morning with throw up and gross diapers. And I seem to have done something to my knee. It hurts like a son of a gun. Thank goodness Kenny has been on his weekend. Don't know what I would have done at 6:00 this morning. He was really good to get up and give Colton a bath while I changed the sheets and blankets on his crib yet again.....Still haven't heard anything about the duplex.

Life Happens

Dealing with a sick child is definitely not my favorite thing to do. This morning Colton woke up at 5:20am and threw up all over his bed. So I decided to just let him go back to sleep with me. Didn't happen. After about an half hour I remade his crib with clean sheets and stuck him right back in. He was doing everything he could think of to not fall asleep while he was with mommy. He would hum, clap his hands, kick me, roll over. It would of been quite entertaining if mommy had not been so tired. Mommy really likes her sleep. The constant diaper changes are not fun. We need a new onesie every time we change a diaper. But I have been enjoying the free snuggles.

On a different note; today we walked through a duplex on 800 West in West Bountiful. It's quite small and it doesn't have a dishwasher or central air, but it does have it's redeeming qualities. Like the hardwood floor and the whole rural feel. I'm looking forward to life's new challenges and am glad to have the opportunity to stay at home with my son. I really hope that we get this place. It's just south of the elementary school and right across the street from the church. But if we don't we will keep looking for another place. My house is a disaster. I'm not sure where to put things. We have been making a DI pile. Tomorrow is going to be busy making trips back and forth to the DI.

Marinda has been so kind as to let us use her house for Colton's 1st birthday. For any of you who don't know where it is the address is 631 Applewood Dr in Centerville. I will try and get the invitations out this week. Thanks for all your love and support and for reading my lame blog.
