No My Baa oon!
Yesterday for lunch I took Colton to lunch at McDonalds so that he could play on the play place they have there. Things were going great. He was so excited to tell the clock hello when we walked in and then he saw the balloons. Someone was having a birthday party and had many many balloons. He was thrilled to see the baa oons, but was good and came with me to order his hamburger and apple slices. He decided he wanted to eat in the play area and when we walked in there were the baa oons. (baa oons is how he says balloons) He ran right over and started playing with the baa oons and of course I went and snatched him up and told him he needed to eat before he could play. He took maybe three bites before he was back over playing with the baa oons. I was worried he was bothering the party guests and tried again to take him back to eat his food when they told me he was fine and they enjoyed him. So I let him stay. He was pretty funny to watch. He was so excited about the balloons and could care less about the play place or the other kids or the fact that I wanted him to eat. So when it was time to go I went and grabbed him. And the temper tantrum of the year occurred. NO MAMMA!!!!!!! MY BAA OON!!!! So I quickly put his coat on and grabbed my coat and tried to hurry out of McDonald when the next thing I know the lady whose birthday it was right there with one of her balloons. "Here you go little guy," she said. I tried to make him say thank you but of course all he said was "my baa oon" So here on my blog I would like to officially thank the beautiful, amazing woman who made my sons day and night and the next morning too. He wouldn't take a nap without his baa oon, he wouldn't go night night without his baa oon. And even now as he is playing with the baa oon, he is singing songs about the\baa oon.

Baby Jesus
This morning while I was changing Colt's diaper and getting him dressed for the day, I kept telling him different names and asking him if that was the name we should name his brother. He kept saying no to every name. I probably asked him about 10-15 names before I finally asked him what he thought we should name his brother. He looked right up at me and with the cutest smile on his face he said......Jesus!

Morgan's Meals
I started a new blog. I know that the name is lame, but I really couldn't think of anything cool to name it. It is going to basically be my online cookbook. I got the idea from my mom's blog Pass The Salt I will also post some things I craft if they ever happen. So feel free to check it out and leave some feedback. It's Morgan's Meals

Just Like Daddy
Lately Colton is loving his daddy. He is excited when he gets home and loves to play with him. Kenny will play cars with him and will do tickle monster. He's been loving his daddy so much that he likes to do things like him. I have an easier time getting him to eat if Kenny is around. He will only wear his cowboy boots because daddy has cowboy boots. I actually got him to wear a hat for longer than 5 seconds by asking him if he wanted to look like daddy. I wish I had gotten a picture of that. And when daddy plays rock band.....Colton has to play too.
Isn't he just the cutest?
Seeing The Lights
We decided to go out looking at lights last night and ended up at the Centerville park across from Centerville Elementary. Colton loved walking around looking at the lights and just following his dad around. We didn't stay long on account of my being cold. But we did drive around for a little bit and look at the lights. It was great! I only wished that I had brought some hot chocolate with us.

Adventure With Poop
Yes. You read right. It says poop. Today Colton and I went to Marinda's house to play. The kids were getting along great so Marinda and I started on our craft project. We noticed the boys went downstairs to watch The Polar Express. They were being so good and quiet so we didn't think to check on them. Of course we were having too good of a time talking to think about checking on them anyway. When I glanced over to see who was coming up the stairs I was quite horrified to see my son coming up the stairs stark naked. I had to chase him down and re-diaper him up before I could go find his clothes and see if he had peed anywhere. I was horrified of the thought that he had peed on Marinda's carpet. So after I finally caught him I started to put his diaper on when I noticed the signs that he had pooped. Horrified I ran down the stairs only to step in pee.So I called out to Marinda that Colton had peed. Grossed out I stopped to take my socks off before venturing onto the carpet and glanced over to find where Colton had taken off his diaper and pooped on the carpet. So I had to yell back to Marinda that he had pooped too. I quickly grabbed a wipe and cleaned up his mess only to look up and find the Ethan was bare naked as well. So I looked around and found where Ethan had pooped on the carpet. Gross! Fortunately Marinda made him clean up his own poop. He was in such a hurry to get it to the bathroom that he dropped some of it and spent the next two minutes trying to pick up what he dropped. (With a paper towel, not his hands) At the time I wanted to cry, but now I just find it entertaining. Marinda was nice enough to let us stay for longer and the boys spent the rest of the time in diapers. I am glad that Marinda had such a cool head at the time because I would have been hysterical.

Colton's Favorite Past Time
Colton loves to play Rockband with his dad. His favorite thing to play is the drums. I find it adorable and wanted to share this with everyone. Usually at the end of a song he goes crazy screaming and clapping and shouting out "YEAH!" He is so much fun to have around.

Zip
So here it is 4:00 in the morning and I've been awake for quite a while now. I had a dream about Zip and when I woke up I couldn't stop thinking about him. I also can't stop crying either. Stupid hormones! I know that it's pretty pathetic to be putting this up on my blog but Kenny needs his sleep and told me he'd be angry if I started talking to him. So I came out here to take my mind off things and just thought I would get on blogger and post some pictures of my dog and tell everyone else in the world how much I miss him and how terribly I want him back. I miss playing with him watching him chase the cat around the house. I miss camping with him and I miss his kisses.
I'm sorry if I wasted your time but I needed to get this out somehow.

Blender Wheat Pancakes
Quite awhile ago I was given a recipe for wheat pancakes. A long with a few other wheat recipes I haven't tried out yet. They are recipes that help you cycle through your huge quantities of wheat in your food storage. Well today I decided to try out the pancake recipe. It is so yummy I wanted to share it.
Blender Wheat Pancakes
1 cup Milk
1 cup Whole Wheat
2 Eggs
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Tbs Oil
2 Tbs Honey
Put milk and wheat in blender. Blend on highest speed 4-5 minutes or until batter is smooth. Add the other ingredients and blend on low. Bake on a hot griddle.
They were so delicious! Let me know if you try them and if you make any adjustments that might make these better. I might add some cinnamon in mine next time.

Kangaroo Zoo
We went with the Townsends to Kangaroo Zoo. Sadly Colton was in a bad mood and didn't like any of the jumping inflatable toys. But he loved playing baseball. He also loved the mini golf game. He was lots of fun he kept picking up my ball. And he was so funny trying to hit his ball by himself. Colton also figured out that he could get a drink at the fountain all by himself. He probably spent 50% of his time at the drinking fountain.
I had a great time holding Liam so his parents could go play. He is such a good baby. It's kind of deceiving I believe. He's so good that it makes me excited for our little guy to get here, but there is no way that he'll be as good as Liam.

Finally Feels Like Home
I have been wanting to put up pictures on the wall for quite a while now, but was not sure how to go about it. We are renting and the walls are wood paneling and I didn't want to be putting holes everywhere. Then I discovered the Command products. I love them. I got all of my pictures up and it feels more like a home to me now. I love walking in the front door and seeing my family up on the wall. I really want to share it with you. Feel free to come on over anytime. (If you call and let me know you're coming I will make cookies or a yummy snack)
I also wanted to share this beautiful plaque I made at our Relief Society Super Saturday. I am in LOVE with it.

Go Aggies!
On Saturday we went to a USU Aggie game. They played the New Mexico Aggies. It was a pretty good game. The USU Aggies won! I really enjoyed spending time with my sister and her family and being able to watch a football game live. Colton seemed to enjoy the game, sadly it was during nap time. He did fall asleep for a little while, until I tried to lay him down. We didn't get to see Lacey sadly because she had a migraine. Hopefully she is feeling better. After the game we went to the Lambert's and played rock band! We had such a great time! And Steph even fed us dinner. It was so yummy! Thanks for the good time!

Halfway Point
As of today I am officially half way through this pregnancy. Hooray! I have been doing pretty good for the last month and have been able to feel this little monster kicking and rolling up a storm. We had our ultrasound on Friday and everything looked great. We are having a little BOY and we are very excited. Kenny wanted another boy and was granted his wish. A few mornings before the ultrasound he rolled over and said we're having a boy and he was right. I had a little bit of an inclination because I thought there is no way a little girl would be kicking me this hard. My little monster loves to move and loves to move right when I am trying to go to sleep. He knows right where my bladder is and uses it for a trampoline. I can't wait until he gets here and I know I still have 20 more weeks to go. Hopefully they go by fast.

The Happenings
Well our big news is that we haved moved. Yes, we moved into the house behind us. Very tiring. Thanks to everyone who helped us out. Also we go in next Friday to have our big ultrasound for #2. I keep having anxiety that baby wont play nice and that I will have to wait until baby gets here to know. Oh well. I know this is a pathetic update but it's all I have time for. Love to all!

Our Not So Big Adventure
We have been wanting to go camping at least once more before our summer was officially over. So Friday night we packed up the truck and headed up Farmington canyon. It was a nice drive; the leaves were beginning to change and we never had to eat anyone's dust. We went to the Bountiful Peak campgrounds and were some of the first people to get there. It was so nice and peaceful....until the stupid group of boys showed up and set up their camp right next to us. (Technically they were two campsites away, but if you've ever been to Bountiful Peak then you know that the campsites are pretty close together.) Actually they weren't really that bad until it started to get dark out. Then they started having a contest to see who could sound the most like a real dog howling. Yeah, a bunch of pre-adolescent boys howling like dogs, pretty annoying. Although not quite as annoying as the ATV that was quite loud and kept driving around until about 30 minutes before Kenny and I decided to go to bed, at 11:00 at night. Anywho back to my story. Colton loved having plenty of space to run and throw his ball. So to keep him busy while daddy got things going we went on walks and ate oreos. Yum. After camp was all set up and a fire was going we ate tin foil dinners that I had pre-cooked at home. They were so yummy I want another one right now. After dinner we went for another walk where Colton face planted it trying to get his ball as it went through his legs. He got a face full of dirt that was too funny to miss as a photo op. After getting all cleaned up he went and helped daddy gather fire wood. It was adorable! He would bring back little sticks. He was so much fun. He went to bed early in his own little travel crib. I was so excited that he wasn't going to be sleeping with us. But I was very worried about how cold it was getting. So he was smothered with warm blankets. I had a great time after he went to bed ( I could get a lot closer to the fire) Kenny and I stayed up late talking. It was nice to be able to sit around the camp fire without Colton trying to throw things in and getting too close for comfort. There was a beautiful full moon that lit up the campground so that you could see without a flashlight. When we finally decided to go to bed, it was freezing. I was so cold that my teeth were chattering. I couldn't help it. So we climbed into bed and snuggled trying to stay warm. I think I feel asleep for a little bit, then I got uncomfortable and had to change positions. Big mistake! As soon as I moved I was cold again. So I would try not to move so I could get warm again, but then I would have to change positions(stupid pregnancy) and I would get cold again. So when Colton woke up crying at 1:00 A.M. We decided to pack up camp and head home to our warm bed and flushing toilet. I was soooooo happy to go home and sleep in my own bed. I don't think that we will be attempting anymore camp outs this year.

A Third of the Way
I am pleased to announce that I am finally in my second trimester. This is a big accomplishment for me, seeing as how I thought I was going to die a few weeks ago. But slowly I've been feeling less sick and less tired and more like my normal self, with a few adjustments. Kenny probably doesn't like those adjustments. Like having to get up two or three times a night to use the restroom. Or how I toss and turn all night because I can't sleep on my tummy or my back and I hate sleeping on my side. Or how moody I am when I am pregnant. And I will tell you straight up that I am an extreme case of hormones that show through in my emotions. Although he does like to make fun of me because I cry over everything. During movies or TV shows if he thinks it's slightly heart wrenching he looks over to see if I'm crying and makes comments. Glad he gets some satisfaction out of my uncontrollable mood swings.
I am most excited about having my energy back ( and not throwing up everyday ) I had been really struggling with house work and it has been killing me. I can't stand how the dirty dishes would be piled up for days waiting for a moment when I felt good enough to wash them. Or how I would run out of clothes and have to struggle to do laundry. The bathroom stayed pretty clean because that was the room I was in the most. So now I that I feel much better I have been able to stay on top of most of the house work...I never have been able to stay caught up on whatever room my boys are both in.
Sorry. I didn't mean to make this a post about me complaining. But that is what it turned out to be in the end. I am putting a poll up on my blog for people to vote on whether we are having a boy or a girl. We find out next month. So you have plenty of time to vote.

Our Day at Antelope Island
Kenny decided that we needed a break and on Friday he took us to the island. It was Colton's first time and he seemed to enjoy it. The weather I thought was perfect. It was a little bit cooler and overcast. Perfect conditions for me. We started our day off with the visitors center. We don't usually go there but Colton liked the small buffalo and hiking out behind the center.
He also got to ride the big white buffalo in the front which has a sign about not touching that daddy overlooked.
After the visitor center we headed to the beach for a buffalo burger. It was delicious. I loved the fries and so did the seagulls. I just can't resist feeding them. While we ate Colton played in the sand.
And I took a panoramic photo of our view of the beach.
After our lunch was done we decided to take the forever long walk down to the water. Seriously forever long walk. But at the water is where Colton and Kenny had the greatest time and I got some great shots.
After our long walk back to the truck it was definitely nap time for Colton and we headed home.
