May in Pictures

We spent the morning at Antelope Island

Ken and I went on a date to see Hayden and my aunt Debi in Man of La Mancha
Mothers Day. My boys were so cute!
We went to the zoo with the Townsend's.
Grandpa Dave redid his driveway and let Colton help him with the bobcat.
Colt graduated preschool. I love how he smiles for the camera.
We went on a picnic up Farmington canyon.

Dinosaur Museum

We had a very fun day. We took the boys to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was pretty awesome. Quite a long drive but I thought it was fun. I feel like we kind of rushed through it, but I feel that way about any place we go. After we went to Cabelas just for Ken.

Catch It Up

I haven't been updating my blog like I would like. I love being able to look back and see what things we were doing and what my kids looked like. So I am going to be putting things on here that happened a few months ago that I want on here.

KC Blessing Day

We blessed KC on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, we were surrounded by our wonderful family. I feel so blessed to have a healthy baby boy. Being married to a caring, loving man who is worthy to bless his family with the power of the priesthood. Ken gave a beautiful prayer. I felt like he said everything that I want for him. I am so thankful for all of our family who helped make it a special day. We all felt loved.

Happening Today

Sometimes I think I'm a cool mom and let the boys have a fort day with my dirty bedding.
Sometimes I'm nice to my husband and let him participate in the weird goings on at his work. Things like sex offender September.

I don't think KC really likes it. But he's adorable so here is a picture of him.

Bear Lake

We love going to Bear Lake every year. This year we found a beach open in Garden City. We got to park right on the beach. The boys loved playing in the sand and water. They build Sandcastles. There was also a spring running right into the lake. That was their favorite place to play. KC napped the whole time we were there in a little laundry basket. I can't wait until next year when he can actually play in the water.

Handcart Days

Kindergarten

Colton went to his "first" day of kindergarten today. It was really just a quick orientation. But I am so excited for him! His teacher is really great and so very organized. I know he will live her.

Sweet Dreams

It's so peaceful when kids are sleeping. I love to watch him sleeping for just a little bit before I remember how much I need to do while he's asleep.

Lovin on Baby KC

These two big brothers love their baby brother. Tucker still isn't quite sure about him. Colton will help me by getting me his binky, or a burp cloth, or by singing to him when he is being fussy. I think the best part about being a mom to all boys is seeing brotherly love.

My Happy Boy

KC is such a happy boy. He smiles a great big smile when he sees me. And he is starting to coo too!

Two Weeks

KC is growing like a weed! At his two week appointment he weighed 8lbs and 6oz. He has gained almost a whole pound. He measured 21 inches. He is a whole inch taller! He eats like a champion. And is so alert. He likes to hold his head up and look around.

Kenneth Charles KC Goudy

KC was born on July 7, 2014 at 2:03 PM. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 20 inches long. He has the perfect amount of dark hair. Labor and delivery were easy on mom thank goodness. We are so glad he's here!

Legos!!!!

I admit, when I bought the Lego Movie all I was thinking was that I really wanted a nap and that it would keep the kids entertained while I went into a pregnancy coma. I did not think things beyond that point. All I can say, "I've made a huge mistake!"
It's like a Lego bomb went off in our place. There are Legos in every single room in the house. And they keep begging to have us build things for them. Like a spaceship. Thinking to escape from my mistake, I told Colton I didn't know how to build a spaceship. After asking his dad multiple times, Ken finally said he would build him one when he gets off work at two in the AM. Now all I've heard all evening is how his dad is going to build him a huge spaceship. And when he wakes up he's going to find it. So when Ken called on his break, Colton made sure to remind him of his promise. I'm going to have to get up when Kenny gets home so I can take a picture of the long awaited spaceship.
I knew that Legos were bound to become of part of my life as soon as I knew we were having a boy. I did not realize how quickly I would learn to despise them. Their only redeeming quality is watching the love of my life building things with his sons. (He still likes building with Legos, I'm assuming every man does whether they admit it or not)
