Miss Onyx Purr-y

My boys have been begging for a cat for a long time. We finally found the one for us. We had a lot of convincing to do to get daddy on board. He was the one who finally went and adopted her. She is lots of fun and everyday she comes out of her shell a little more. My favorite thing about her is that she can't really meow. But she sure can purr very loudly.

Purple

So I finally dyed  my hair purple. I have been wanting to do this for quite a while and finally decided to just go for it. I love it! It makes me feel crazy and spontaneous again!

Labor Day at the Natural History Museum

We went to the Natural History Museum for Labor Day. My poor husband was so tired and had to go to work as soon as we were done. I feel like we didn't have nearly enough time to explore the museum and I would love to go back when I have time to leisurely look at everything.

Integrated Way of the Fist

My older boys have just started a martial arts class on Friday nights. I know it's not karate, and I know that I can't say the name of it. I just know that it translates into, integrated way of the fist.
The class only costs $7 per kid per week. It is based of a program that Chuck Norris created so that everyone could afford to learn. I am enjoying watching my boys learn respect and self control. They will be better men because of the things they are learning. And I'm not talking about fighting. I am talking about the rules and principles that they are teaching them. I am very glad that I found out about this class, and that my boys like going. It's going to be fun to watch them learn and grow.

Meet Tug

We have a new puppy. He is a blue heeler and his name is Tug. He is quite a handful and is pretty smart. Too smart for his own good. He keeps me busy by always getting into things and chewing on things and harassing the toddler. I forgot how hard the puppy stage can be.

Kenneth Charles KC

On July 7,2014 I gave birth to my third boy. He was 7lbs 10oz and 20 inches long. He was born with hair, not just peach fuzz. He was my biggest baby for sure. Although he did give me a scare when he didn't start crying right away. I loved every moment I had to snuggle with him and rest before I had to go home. I am loving looking back on these pictures and remembering how much I loved holding him. My husband was amazing through everything. I am always sad when he has to head back to work. I'm so very blessed to have this boy in my life.
