Snow Day

Playing in the snow.

 We really enjoyed the first big snow storm of the season. Kenny got the kids all dressed up in some winter gear and they headed out to play. Colton dove right in and started eating the snow and Kenny started making a snow man. Tucker did not want anything to do with the snow. It made his hands cold and was too deep and too compact for him to walk through. So he stayed on the porched with me while I took some pictures and then he went in for a nap.

I tried to get Tucker interested in playing outside so I filled up to spray bottles with water and put food coloring in them. One blue and one red. He could've cared less he was so tired. But Colton loved spraying the snow different colors. And he loved spraying the snow  man as well. The red really made him look bloody. Too bad his mouth fell off before the picture.

After their fun time in the snow Kenny and Colton sat on the bench outside and drank hot chocolate while they watched the snow falling and cars go by. And mommy made sure they were warm by heating up some rice bags to keep them cozy.

We had such a great time in the snow and are excited for more snow days. If only we can convince Tucker that it is fun.
