Well, I'm in my last week of trimester one and I am hoping to start feeling better, and having more energy. That happened yesterday. I was so happy that I got down and really cleaned our place. I was so excited to wake up the next morning feeling well. I get up with my boys and made them pancakes. I started some laundry. (Haven't been doing laundry lately, the smell makes me want to puke) Helped my boys build a fort in the front room and spent some good time with them. Then everything went downhill from there. I was exhausted again. I felt sick. And I ended up with a stupid headache. And now after crying for a while in my bed, for feeling guilty that I didn't fold laundry, or do the dishes, I decided I would just journal here on my blog.
So know you know that I am ready to have some energy back. And that today was not my best day, I would like to lay out my highlights of today.
Tucker gave me the greatest hug. He wrapped his little arms tightly around my neck and just hugged me. I loved it. After his hug he just snuggled up with me on the couch.
Colton was so excited to have a face for his snowman pancakes. I love when he gets excited and has to tell Tucker about it. I also love how great of a big brother he is to Tucker.
Colton helped me out with cleaning his room, getting Tucker unbuckled from his car seat so I wouldn't have to climb in, and with letting Trixie in and out to go potty.
I blew bubbles for my boys while they were in the bath. I wish I had recorded the sound of pure joy. I know when Colton is really happy because he squeals with delight.
Watching Trixie catching bubbles was also very entertaining.
Being able to snuggle with Kenny on the floor while the boys played in their fort.
Getting some yummy chocolate custard over at Galaxy custard on the corner of Parrish Lane and Main Street. (Across from Papa Murphy's)
Taking my boys to Dick's market just to grab some bread, which turned into a let's get bananas and grapes, and don't forget my doughnut mommy.
Listening to my boys playing pretend. Their bed was a pirate ship named Bucky and they kept singing the song from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Getting my goodnight hugs and kisses and then the quiet that ensued.
And now Trixie is snuggling with me and keeping my toesies warm. So goodnight everyone!

I love those days when the energy is always available. Where is it on the days that we drag ourselves around? Should I put some of my blog stuff on FB?
