I cannot believe that my little Colton bear is all ready five months. Has it really been that long?
How time flies when you're having fun. My baby bear is doing lots of cool things for a 5 month old. He sits up rather well and likes to play with his toys sitting up. And he can scoot all over the place on his back. On his tummy he goes in circles and can push himself backwards. Right now he is turning himself around so he can see his cat. He likes to go swimming and has even been boating all though I am doing a separate post about boating. He has such a big personality. He gets so animated over the most random things. Like in church he was so excited that my friends baby Gage was sitting by him. He was laughing and talking rather loud trying to get Gage's attention. He also is a major flirt with women. When he sees a pretty women looking at him he gives a big old smile and then acts all shy. In fact when a beautiful model in our ward told him he had perfect eyes, he kind of batted them at her. It was hilarious!!! He is such an amazing person. I hope and pray with all my might that I will be a good mother and raise him up right so that he can do the job that he was sent to this earth to accomplish. I know it is a big one. And I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father chose me to be his mother.

Happy Fathers Day, A day late
I just wanted to post about my wonderful husband and father of my son. I'm not going to do a long post though. Just my top 10 reasons that I think he is a great father. In no particular order.
10- He doesn't mind getting spit up all over him
9- He does the funniest things to get Colton laughing.
8- He will actually change a poopy diaper, even if it does break his back :)
7- He gets up at 5:00am to get ready for work so that he can provide for his family.
6- He never complains when I ask him to help out.
5-By babysitting on the days I go to work he is understanding of all the hard work I do and appreciates it.
4-He doesn't get angry when I talk about how many kids we are going to have, and believe me he should.
3- He takes us out to do fun things.
2-He actually gets down on the floor to do tummy time with Colton.
1-At 4:00 this morning he got Colton out of bed and gave him a bottle so that I could sleep longer because I didn't feel very well.

Eating Rice Cereal
Colton is finally old enough to start eating solids. So we decided to start out on rice cereal. He's not quite sure what to think of it. He doesn't know if he likes it or not. But he tries to eat everything I am eating and drink everything I am drinking. So I figured he's old enough to try new foods. This week we are going to be trying banana mixed in and then next week we will try some oatmeal.

Four Months
Time just seems to fly by these days. Colton is now four months old. He is doing some pretty amazing things. He can sit up for awhile on his own. He rolls over both ways. He scoots around on his back and even tries to crawl. He hasn't figured out crawling thank goodness, but he sure tries. He gets really frustrated when he can't reach his toys, so I'm sure it wont be long. He also has started eating rice cereal. It is pretty funny to watch. I'll post some of the pictures we took of that on a new post later. He weighed in at 12lbs 7oz. So he dropped from 50% to 15% in his weight. But seeing as he is a very active child I'm not too worried. He also eats like a pig so I'm pretty sure we are okay. He is now 24 inches long and he just seems to be getting bigger everyday. He loves to go swimming and doesn't mind being dunked under the water. He is a joy in our lives and we are very grateful to have such a good baby.
