12 month Check Up

Yesterday I took Colton for his 12 month check up. Guess what? He -5% in weight again. Do I feel bad this time? Of coarse not. Luckily Colton's regular doctor was there. She was amazed at his development and his big blue eyes, and said that he is all around proportionately small. He was so cute walking around and pointing to all the pictures on the wall and trying to push her around on her chair. Then he climbed under my chair and played for a while. He was so good yesterday until he got his shots. He screamed bloody murder and cried for a while. I finally had him calmed down and was starting to get him dressed, when the nurse opened the door to tell me he is not anemic. As soon as he saw her again the crying started all over again. So I had to calm him down again before he would let me get him dressed. Then as we were leaving the nurse waved bye bye to him. Big mistake nice nurse. He cried all the way out to the car.

Farewell Zip

Zip was adopted yesterday to a new family. I'm kind of sad about it. I do miss him. But I wish him and his new family well. He seemed to like them and they have another heeler for him to play with. Goodbye Zip. Enjoy your new family.

We are going to be moving on the second weekend in March. The duplex in West Bountiful that we really wanted was rented out. But the landlord called and told us that the other side would be available in March. We are very excited! It's going to be nice to go back to basics. Live the simple life.

I'm pretty sad about my Colts losing the superbowl. :( They had a great season though. They had the most wins this season. I look forward to next season. Go Colts!

I've started a new blog. I am putting on my monthly goals and will be posting my progress every week. Feel free to check it out and give me encouragement. www.morgansgoals.blogspot.com

Happy Birthday Colton!

My baby boy is one year old. I cannot believe how fast time flies. It seems that only yesterday he was born. My favorite thing about Colton would have to be those sweet smiles. I love those big blue eyes. He loves discovering new things. His favorite thing to do is to flip light switches on and off. He is constantly on the go. His first word was bye bye. He loves his cousin Ethan. He gets so excited to see him that he will scream. He loves walking. He can go anywhere he likes now. He also finally has a tooth. Thank goodness it came before it he turned one. He loves spending time with his dad. I bet Kenny's heart just melts when he gets home from work and gets a big Colton grin just for him. His new favorite snack is baby goldfish and ice cream. He loves to throw things and say uh-oh. He is so much fun in our house. I am so glad that he is here and that he is ONE!

Best Husband in the World

Last night after working a 13 hour shift my husband comes home to find a grumpy wife and child. Instead of being grumpy with us, he starts doing things to make us feel better. He played with Colton and made him very happy daddy was home. Then he compliments my dinner and has second helpings. After I express a desire to get out of the house he takes my to my favorite place the Yogurt Stop. And makes jokes in the car that help me out of my bad mood. I do not deserve him. He does so much for us that he doesn't realize save my sanity and make me fall in love with him even more everyday.
