Dressing Up

Trying to decide what costume Tucker should wear for Halloween. He was a good sport until the end. Then he was pretty mad. He hates getting dressed. So making him get in and out of costumes was torture for him. Feel free to leave a comment about what you think he should be. Right now I really like the penguin. It has the cuttest little tail on his rear end. I love it!

Pack Farm Pumpkin Patch

We had sooo much fun this year at the pumpkin patch. It was so much fun to watch Colton having a great time running around in the hay maze. He also loved picking pumpkins. He would run from pumpkin to pumpkin shouting out, "how about this one?" He even chose Tucker's pumpkin for him. He is excited to carve them this weekend. Tucker loved riding in the cart and playing with the pumpkins. He is so sweet and just let us take pictures of him while he smiled. He liked touching the straw we put him on for pictures but he hated sitting on it. Not that I blame him. By the time we were leaving the sun was getting ready to set. It was such a beautiful view that I tried to capture it. Isn't is amazing? It really makes me grateful for the wonderful earth we were given.

Feeding the Horses

Down the street is a field of horses. One of the horses had a late baby. He is soooo cute, and I have been wanting to stop by and see him up close for some time now. Kenny was sweet enough to indulge me and we stopped and got out of the car to feed the horses. It was definitely a moment for me to cherish. Seeing my two year old son with a big old grin on his face bending over to pick grass and throw it through the fence. I am grateful for the small moments in my life that keep me distracted from all my worries.

The Past Five Years

I was just looking through some pictures on my computer when I realized that September is the only month that I have 5 folders. I organize my pictures by months and years on my computer. Any way I thought I would post a few.

                                         September 2007

Kenny and I had only been married a few months and we were over at my mom's house. Sweet little Alaina was there. The sunflowers in the feild behind the house were beautiful. My little brothers were still kids (not moody teenagers) and life was still very fun and exciting. ( I was just married in July of 2007 you get the idea)

                                        September 2008

We helped Lacey move up to Logan for her first year of college. Also the Legacy Parkway opened and we took pictures of our very first drive on Legacy. We were totally lamo but we had ourselves a great time.

                                        September 2009

Trips to the zoo and to discovery gateway. Colton was also just learning how to crawl. He really starting to crawl in October of that year. We really stayed busy.

                                                               September 2010

A trip to Antelope Island. Another trip up to Logan. A failed attempt at camping. Play dates with cousins. Discovering how to eat olives off of your fingers. And of course the Applekin Festival.

        September 2011

A fire on the mountain above our house. More sick boys. Ethan's 4th birthday party and the Meadowbrook Fall Carnival.

I love looking back at all my pictures, and I do it quite often. I love looking to see how our life and how my boys have changed.

Meadowbrook Elementary Fall Carnival

Cute, I know

I love his little toes

My mom is the new librarian at Meadowbrook Elementary. She volunteered to help with the fish pond. So we took are boys for an afternoon of fun. We stopped first at the fish pond to see Grammy. Then headed off to throw a football through a tire. Colton loves sports. It was so much fun to watch this little two year old get so excited after he threw the football through the tire. He loved going to all the different games. We had hot dogs and cotton candy and sno-cones and caramel apples. He won two books on the book walk. Which was my favorite part of the whole carnival. I am so excited for next years carnival. It will be fun for Tucker as well. This time around he just hung out in the stroller and who ever he could get to hold him arms.
