A Dream Come True

I love horses!!!!!!!! I always have, I always will. So when my friend calls and says the horses came over for a visit you want to come over; I say I'll be over in a minute. Three minutes later... I got to ride T J all over 1500 S and 1100 W. It was so awesome!!!!!!! It's been two years since I have been on a horse. I really miss it. I am a little sore today and need to do some stretching but I am still on a high from it. Thank you Keith and Jan!!!!

Boating with the Wests

So I think it is time for a new post. My best friend in the whole world has a boat. So she and her husband invited us to go with them to utah lake. We had a really really fun time. Kenny did wake boarding and he got up on his first try. I was impressed, seeing as how he was trying to do slolam (it's like water skiing except it's just one ski) and he couldn't get up at all. When he wake boards he only holds onto the rope with one hand. So when my friend was wake boarding she kept trying to make fun of him by letting go and holding on with only one hand. After we played in the water a lot. Keith decided that Ken should try to surf. That is where you are on a surf board and you pull on your rope until you are right behind the boat. You find the "sweet spot" as Keith calls it. And you ride the surf of the boat. And you are literally almost on the boat you have to get so close. It was pretty fun.

This One Goes Out To The One I Love

Yesterday was our 2nd anniversary. And I must say that it really does feel like it's been longer. Here's a quick recap of our 2 glorious years. We moved out of an apartment and into a house. We've been through 3 trucks all ready. Kenny let me get a dog. We got pregnant. I let Kenny get a puppy. We had our beautiful little boy. Kenny decides to get rid of said puppy. And the highlight of our 2 years is...... we were sealed together as an eternal family on May 2, 2009. But I also wanted to do this post to say all the wonderful things about my eternal companion. He is always making me laugh. I have a hard time staying mad at him because he always knows how to make me smile and forget whatever he did to make me angry in the first place. He is such an amazing dad. He has a way with kids that I know I don't have because little kids do not run to me all happy and excited saying it's Kenny. He builds some pretty cool stuff for me, he built a fence around my garden because Zip kept getting in there and digging things up. He let me get chickens, then he built a coop for them, and now he's the one taking care of them everyday. He is nice to my friend and her family. He is a great scout leader to his boys and I know he cares for them. He is always willing to help other people out whenever they need him. He truly loves me and his family and I am very lucky to have him. I would like to ask everyone who reads this to post a memory of us as a comment. Or it can just be of Kenny.

Five Months?!

I cannot believe that my little Colton bear is all ready five months. Has it really been that long?
How time flies when you're having fun. My baby bear is doing lots of cool things for a 5 month old. He sits up rather well and likes to play with his toys sitting up. And he can scoot all over the place on his back. On his tummy he goes in circles and can push himself backwards. Right now he is turning himself around so he can see his cat. He likes to go swimming and has even been boating all though I am doing a separate post about boating. He has such a big personality. He gets so animated over the most random things. Like in church he was so excited that my friends baby Gage was sitting by him. He was laughing and talking rather loud trying to get Gage's attention. He also is a major flirt with women. When he sees a pretty women looking at him he gives a big old smile and then acts all shy. In fact when a beautiful model in our ward told him he had perfect eyes, he kind of batted them at her. It was hilarious!!! He is such an amazing person. I hope and pray with all my might that I will be a good mother and raise him up right so that he can do the job that he was sent to this earth to accomplish. I know it is a big one. And I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father chose me to be his mother.
